Getting around Vienna

Vienna has one of the world's more efficient public transport systems. And it's relatively cheap, too. And clean. And safe.
The center is small enough to walk around, otherwise there's a network of buses, trains, trams and subway lines that let you get anywhere relatively quickly and all operate through a common ticket system. With the right ticket, a full-day's travel on the Vienna public transport system costs a little over 3 Euro.
